I have always had a real love for music.
I remember a few years ago now saving my pocket money to buy my first LP….”1982 With a Bullet”… a various artists classic…and then racing home to record it onto a tape to play in my bedroom and our family car.
Back then I thought it was amazing.
But there has always been something more, something special when you hear your favourite songs on the radio.
These days we are so spoilt for choice for music
Today we can search and play any song that we like on iTunes or Spotify and play all our favorites back to back one after the other. But when you hear your favourite songs on the radio it is always different…no matter where you are, what you are doing there is something more to a song on the radio.
I was working away in my office, getting a few things tidied up to start the week and was listening one of Sydney’s FM radio stations.
Yeah there is always a few ads and a few but when Foo Fighters “Best of You”, Faith No More’s “Epic” & Soundgarden “Spoonman” start playing, the volume instantly went to 10.
For me it’s one of those simple but awesome things.
Like when you are mountain bike riding in a new area, exploring searching and discovering.
And you stumble across a creek crossing, a rugged downhill trail or a sweet section of twisting singletrack.
It’s no longer just another ride…it an adventure at a new level…a level 10!
So keep in touch and see you out on the trails.
